British Kidney Patient Association Free Holidays Offer 2008 Majorca and Crete Letter written to our Social Benefits Advisor: Received 2nd January 2008
Dear Gilad,
We are writing once again to offer out of season holidays both in Majorca and Crete to haemodialysis patients who are in desperate need of a break but not in a position to cover the cost of the holiday themselves. We will cover the cost of half-board accommodation, together with flights for the patient and their spouse/partner and also arrangements will be made for the patient’s dialysis.
We are also able to offer free holidays on the Isle of Wight to CAPD patients who also feel they would benefit from a break but are unable to afford the cost of the holiday themselves. On this holiday we will pay for their half-borad accommodation at a lovely hotel situated in Ventor, which includes the cost of the ferry costing.
If in the coming months you have reason to believe that a holiday in 2008 during either April/May or September/October would be more than a welcome to a needy patient known to you who has not had a holiday for sometime, then please complete our grant application form on behalf of the patient, remembering that there are only limited numbers of these holidays and it will be a first come first served.
We look forward to hearing from you and wish you all a very Happy New Year.
Any interested patient should contact Gilad Jackman on 01392 402244, in the first instance, for a grant application form (BKPA) or contact him using this form
