The opportunity for patients to get together does not arise very often and therefore your EDKPA committee have decided to offer a three days break at The Royal Hotel, Woolacombe Half Board at the reduced price of £30 per member (Members are patient + partner and children up to the age of 16).
The hotel offers evening entertainment, there is a swimming pool and food is self-service. Having myself recently enjoyed a break there I can fully recommend it.
The coach will pick-up at Exeter, Taunton (if there are enough book) Barnstaple and anywhere en-route.
Disabled people are welcome and the hotel will supply rooms close to reception and the dinning room.
On the Saturday, depending on the weather we will run the coach down to the beach at Woolacombe and pick up later in the day, most likely making two different pick-up times or maybe a mystery trip out. On the Sunday we plan a trip to Boscastle to see the effects of the floods and the re-building. However you might prefer to do you own thing and that is fine, bring your bus passes if you have them, a trip into Barnstaple or Ilfracombe is possible.
You may wish to drive yourself and that is O.K but there is no reduction in the cost.
